Cheating Gastric Bypass Surgery
Gastric bypass surgery is a very serious procedure that should be reconsidered by anyone that is considering it already. Gastric bypass surgery can be a great option for some people but for other people there are alternative treatments that might work better for them. Gastric bypass surgery makes the stomach smaller so that less food will be consumed by the person who has the surgery. The people who get this surgery have usually very little self control over what they eat and thus prefer to have surgery to aid them in the way of loosing weight that might be affecting their lives. I have heard stories of people who have had gastric bypass surgery who have so little self control however that they manage to do things that will allow them to eat more anyway. One of those things is that they will vomit their food after the eat and then eat more just so they keep feeling the sensation f eating. This damages the esophagus very seriously but some people would rather deal with this than deal with not being satisfied about their consumptions of food. Other stories of people with gastric bypass surgery include people who drink coke or other carbonated drinks on an empty stomach before they eat. Their claim is that the carbon dioxide bubbles in the drink and the composition of the soda will stretch their stomachs. Once the stomach is stretched by the fizz then these people can go ahead and eat a little more than they should because of the size of their stomach. I'm sure there are many other stories like this out there but I have also heard many stories about successful treatments. People should be aware that this surgery is not a quick fix that allows for no error because most any surgery that is a margin of error that you cannot fully eliminate.
